ARSTA - Advocate For The Revolution Of Science & Technology In Africa
About Us
ARSTA’s Goal
ARSTA is sending education to Africa. Teachers will be well qualified undergraduate and graduate students who have excelled academically and are willing to impact Africa. ARSTA is committed to create a foundation to revolutionize and empower Africa, creating exciting opportunities, putting enormous premium on creative and innovative skills. Our programs are designed to encourage competitiveness and innovation, providing hands-on learning environment where the principles of calculus, chemistry, physics, technology, computer, economics and engineering are taught through activities that fill the classroom with a cacophony of nailing, robotic design, laboratory works. The result: the kids learn to apply academic principles to the real world, think strategically and develop problem solving skills.

Our approach is project-based; each of our classes takes the form of a project. While working on a project, students develop a variety of skills. We believe that the project approach provides a meaning and a context to the learning process. Projects explore topics that enhance school-based learning. The finished project for a class can be a magazine, a computer slide-show, an oral presentation or a web page. Students will also have the opportunity to present their research during science fair and festivals where we can easily identify talents as soon as they surface. There is no doubt as to the promising future of Africa at this point.
